Morning: Immersion in the Historic Center

São Bento Station

Start your day in the heart of the city, at São Bento Station. This railway station is not only a starting point but also a monument in itself. Admire the tiles that line the station walls, depicting scenes from Portugal's history.

Porto Cathedral (Sé Cathedral)

From São Bento, head to the imposing Porto Cathedral, one of the oldest and most important in the city. Explore its Gothic interior and climb the tower to enjoy stunning views of Porto and the Douro River.

Clérigos Tower

Near the Cathedral, you'll find the iconic Clérigos Tower. Climb the 240 steps to the top for an unparalleled panoramic view of the city. Don't forget to explore the adjacent church and museum.

Afternoon: Stroll Along the Banks of the Douro River


Descend to Ribeira. Here, you'll find a lively atmosphere, with narrow and colorful streets filled with restaurants and cafes. Take some time to relax and enjoy a traditional meal while watching the rabelo boats pass by on the river.

Luís I Bridge
